This poll proves that it’s hard to beat an old favourite. Tradition speaks loudly and the Brekky Creek has been declared as the winner of Brisbane’s best steak.
After decades of serving the classic potato, coleslaw and bread rolls sides, the flaming steaks of the Breakfast Creek Hotel came out number one, by a meagre 6%.
And it’s a tough contest out there. Brisbanites love their steak and there are many establishments catering for our desire for a rump, eye fillet or t-bone. But the second favourite is the Norman Hotel. Norman scored well with 23% in a big field of contenders.
Third and fourth place getters were tied at 14% each so which do think is better – Cha Cha Char or the Morrison?

Please note: vegetarians were not eligible to vote in this category. Maybe next time we can run a poll to find Brisbane’s best vege shop…
