The food was great! My partner and I had the choice of either a hotpot (shabu shabu) or the stone grill (a big rock that you cook your meat on). We both got a hotpot and enjoyed our food immensely! The prices are very reasonable however it is BYO, that was the only downfall. Other than that it was a great night out, a true experience and very cool way to eat! We will certainly be going back again and again and again!

Shabu Shabu here is an excellent way to cook your own Japanese hotpot (similar to steamboat). You have the chance to try wafer thin Wagyu beef slices and various broths. You can buy Wagyu steak meals and cook it on volcanic rock. Wagyu beef can be highly expensive depending on the cut so this is a good way to try it for the first time without spending a lot of money. Shabu is good value for money, especially with wagyu, and there's a wide range of food (meat/lamb/chicken, veges, seafood, noodles, egg, rice) given to cook up. You can buy lots of extras like squid paste and Japanese asian items. The restaurant has high ceilings, is very large, spacious, comfortable with a choice of table chairs or bar stools to sit on. It's a great place to dine out with friends, and each person has their individual hotpot to cook with. I've only dined weeknights so far, and all have been been quiet and pleasant with a fair amount of people dining. Try green tea icecream or black sesame icecream which are not common items. Plenty of undercover parking.

Don't just sit there, do something!
