The food was great! My partner and I had the choice of either a hotpot (shabu shabu) or the stone grill (a big rock that you cook your meat on). We both got a hotpot and enjoyed our food immensely! The prices are very reasonable however it is BYO, that was the only downfall. Other than that it was a great night out, a true experience and very cool way to eat! We will certainly be going back again and again and again!

Shabu Shabu here is an excellent way to cook your own Japanese hotpot (similar to steamboat). You have the chance to try wafer thin Wagyu beef slices and various broths. You can buy Wagyu steak meals and cook it on volcanic rock. Wagyu beef can be highly expensive depending on the cut so this is a good way to try it for the first time without spending a lot of money. Shabu is good value for money, especially with wagyu, and there's a wide range of food (meat/lamb/chicken, veges, seafood, noodles, egg, rice) given to cook up. You can buy lots of extras like squid paste and Japanese asian items. The restaurant has high ceilings, is very large, spacious, comfortable with a choice of table chairs or bar stools to sit on. It's a great place to dine out with friends, and each person has their individual hotpot to cook with. I've only dined weeknights so far, and all have been been quiet and pleasant with a fair amount of people dining. Try green tea icecream or black sesame icecream which are not common items. Plenty of undercover parking.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER!!!! the choices of food are excellent! you can either chose shabu shabu or stone grill. my partner and i wanted to try both so i got a seafood shabu shabu while my partner got the stone grilled Wagyu steak. there is no wait for your food to arrive. you make your order and they bring out the starters, which are huge for the seafood shabu shabu and my partner got starters of a pastry soup and salad. for the pot for the shabu shabu, it boiled up straight away and the seafood only takes a minute to cook. only a few things took a bit longer (5 mins). you can cook it as you go to YOUR perfection. when the steak came out my partner and i thought it looked a bit small, but my partner (who can eat his fair share of steak- he is a steak fanatic) said it filled him up. the steak is excellent quality and you can cook it how you like it , and the cool thing is, you cook it on a stone:D the waiter we had was 10/10. we hadnt been there before and were not familiar with the cooking styles. he showed us how to cook everything, how long it would take, suggested accurately at what we would like after telling him our likes and dislikes .he was very very helpful, always had a smile on his face. the bad thing was we had no change to give tips:( the decoration is beautiful and the aura this restaurant gives off is relaxing and ominous.i left the place with the largest smile on my face and it lasted for an hour afterwoods and we just couldnt stop talking about our experience.
