Bruno Loubet

The infamous Baguette restaurant's head chef
Bruno Loubet

Bruno was a Chef in London for 20 years, earning much acclaim. For the last 6 years he has been living and working in Queensland. You'll now find Bruno at the Ascot restaurant, Baguette.

My favourite comfort food: french paté.

I don't really like eating: bad quality sausages at barbeques.

To indulge I: eat peanut smarties.

Favourite bar: Cru Bar.

Most memorable recent meal: at Absinthe on the Gold Coast. It is food I can relate to.

A great dish to cook with kids is: (and why) crepes, they can be involved in making them and it's a lot of fun.

A wine that you enjoy: Charles Melton Rosé.

Fish and chips or hamburgers? Fish but without the chips.

There's no aphrodisiac like: Strawberries with a splash of Champagne.

The best thing since sliced bread is: The comeback of real bread!
