South East Queensland’s growing market sector just got even bigger with the immensely popular Brookwater Markets doubling in frequency to take place twice a month.
The market at Greater Springfield’s premier golf community offers a wide array of gourmet delicacies, boasting more than 60 stalls selling fresh produce, breads, meat, fish, poultry and organic food.
Brookwater Golf Club General Manager Mark Holland said the markets attract a big crowd of locals and visitors looking for quality produce and a memorable experience.
“The Brookwater Markets are a great way to indulge in local produce and socialise with neighbours and friends. Relaxing on the lawns overlooking the Golf Course while enjoying good food is an ideal way to spend a Sunday morning,” Mr Holland said.
“In addition to buying fresh produce, visitors to the markets can sample some of the best gourmet delicacies right there on site. You can choose from oriental omelettes, Hunter Valley cheeses, Indian spices, homemade jams and much more.
“Being able to talk directly with the seller can be important to those who want to provide their family with the best possible produce.”
“The Brookwater Markets offer a friendly community atmosphere while catering for every taste and desire. This is a not-to-be missed market for anyone who enjoys a bustling fresh food market experience. Parking is free and everyone is welcome.”
