Tukka, Australia’s leading native restaurant captures the heart and flavour of our indigenous heritage through the production of native cuisine – affectionately known as ‘bush tucker’.

Owner Alistair Roberts launched his ‘all native’ menu in 2002 and now draws visitors from all over the world – enthused by the unique surrounds and fabulous food.

The restaurant is led by French Chef, Staphane Bremont who is focussed on quality ingredients, beautifully presented meals and a passion for flavour.

This one of a kind restaurant, situated in the culturally distinctive and trendy West End precinct, allows visitors to enjoy an exclusive Australian culinary experience. All ingredients are sourced from growers and harvesters right across Australia and include mouth-watering rainforest fruits, spice from desert tomatoes, pepper berry from the mountains of Tasmania and the lean, rich meats of emu, wallaby, possum and wild boar.

You simply can’t go past the signature native platter, a selection of game meats, homemade damper, cheeses, dips and native berries uniquely prepared and presented by Master Chef Stephane Bremont.

Tukka offers a wide selection of quality Queensland and Australian wines and, excitingly, exhibits the work of local indigenous artists. Complementing the restaurant’s raw Australian setting is the mystical sound of dreamtime music, played to help you relax and further enhancing your dining experience.
