Love good food but don't have the time, the skill or the kitchenware needed to prepare it? Never mind, a solution is at hand...
Zone Fresh have launched their own gourmet Ready Made Meals range that can be on the table in minutes. And that means you can now have your gourmet meal and eat it too - all in the cosy comfort of your own home.
The exclusive range created by Zone Fresh's executive chef Franz Ehmann includes traditional Italian lasagne, buffalo ricotta and porcini mushroom tortellini, rich tomato risotto, traditional European pizzas and Brazilian chicken.
Zone Fresh owner and director Sam Mangano said despite always having an ambition to start a ready-to-go range, it was his customers who had inspired the launch.
"We know our customers share our passion for good-quality, healthy food," Mr Mangano said.
"They are interested in expanding their everyday meal options but have little time to dedicate to learning how to prepare and cook a meal that's not in their normal kitchen repertoire.
"The Zone Fresh Ready Made Meals require no more than 30 minutes cooking time, which allows our customers to treat their tastebuds to something new and enjoy restaurant-quality, gourmet meals without all the hassle."
Mr Mangano said unlike many other pre-prepared meals, Zone Fresh Ready Made Meals used only fresh, local and specialty ingredients and no additional preservatives or additives.
"Our staff do not put anything on our shelves they wouldn't eat because our motto is "fresh is best"," Mr Mangano said. "We use the same philosophy for our Ready Made Meals range and do not freeze the meals or keep them in cold storage for any longer than necessary."
Zone Fresh Ready Made Meals have a shelf-life of two days and range from $10 to $15.
