It's double happiness for Brisbane's doughnut lovers. Krispy Kreme's second Brisbane store is now open at the Myer Centre (the original store is at the corner of Albert and Adelaide streets), which means there will be two outlets supplying the ultimate Queensland doughnut - as voted by over 3,000 Friends of Krispy Kreme - when it hits stores on 21 May, in time for the first Centenary Year State of Origin game.
"It's Origin fever at Krispy Kreme! With the ‘True Queenslander' maroon-sprinkles choc-iced doughnuts we're turning our original glazed doughnuts into ‘Origin Greats' doughnuts!" said Queensland Marketing Manager Jay Baikie.
"It's a great way to get into the spirit of Origin and a special treat for diehard Maroons fans," added Jay.
With the Myer Centre opening, Krispy Kreme is also launching its Dozens Delivery Online Shop from Monday 19 May, so that lovers of Krispy Kreme can pre-order for delivery or pick up in store. Perfect for morning teas, fundraisers, birthdays, and thank yous, Dozen's Delivery is limited to select areas and available Monday-Friday during business hours (no delivery on public holidays).
Cheer on the Maroons with an ‘Origin Pack'
Available only in Queensland for a limited time, the special ‘Origin Pack' (1 dozen maroon-sprinkled choc-iced doughnuts plus 1 dozen original glazed doughnuts), is retailing at a special Origin price of $24.95 or individually for $2.60.
