The travels of Marco Polo, the namesake of Marco Polo Dining Cellar Martini Bar evokes a journey through the tastes of the world. The cuisine of the restaurant mirrors the many influences of the exotic locations that Marco Polo visited.
The Marco Polo menu offers guests a wide variety of choice. The a la carte menu, which is updated every 3 months, features the signature of the restaurant, the sensational Peking Duck, Warm Shallot Pancakes and Hoisin Sauce which sees guests return time and time again to savour the experience.
Chef de Cuisine, John Offenhauser uses the highest quality produce and prepares it in a way that allows the natural flavours to stand on their own, a simple philosophy that works. The flavour of each ingredient is clean, intense and adds depth to the overall dish.
Choosing a wine from the extensive and varied list that contains a choice of over 500 wines can be difficult, however, a sommelier is on hand to help. The feature cellar houses the impressive wine collection, presented in a glass walled cellar.
The five star dining experience is complimented by the décor of Marco Polo Dining Cellar Martini Bar. An ambience of calm and tranquility welcomes guests as they walk in. The room is contemporary minimalism – taupes, beiges and chocolate give the room a warm glow.
Chocolate is also a feature of the martini menu. The Chokolate Martini is sure to whet the appetite, made with crème de cacoa and Tia Maria. There is also a wide selection of aperitifs, digestifs, cognacs, Armagnacs, ports and fortified wines available to complement any meal on any occasion at Marco Polo Dining Cellar Martini Bar.
