Want to watch the State of Origin, rugby league, AFL or other big sporting events on the big screen in Brisbane? Don't stay at home all alone, shouting at the telly, get out and be part of the atmosphere. It's huge!

The magnificent Regatta Hotel on Coronation Drive, Toowong is a big venue to see the action on 4 massive screens and 14 plasma screens.

The Pig n Whistle pubs in the Queen Street Mall, Riverside Centre and Indooroopilly - cater to football fans. Open very late, very early and everything in between so you can always catch the game live. You'll see games for the World Cup, English Premier League, FA Cup, AFL and more.

The Normanby Hotel hits its straps during big sporting events. The carpark becomes the site for an enormous screen. Get in the thick of it with the crowds.

The Caxton Street precinct is the place to be, especially when there's a game on in Suncorp Stadium. Even if it's an away game, The Caxton Hotel is a sport lovers heaven, with lots of live action on big screens.

Another hot spot to see every tackle, goal and umpire's decision, is the Story Bridge Hotel at Kangaroo Point. You'll get a great view on the big screens and plasmas at The Shelter Bar as well as Deery's Restaurant.

The Norman Hotel at Woolloongabba has a sports bar with non-stop sports every day of the week.

Other top sporting pubs include; Centenary Tavern at Middle Park and the Royal Exchange (affectionately referred to as the RE) at Toowong. Almost all Brisbane pubs have plasma screens and televisions to watch sporting events, so there's no reason to stay home.
