The Pavilion has cemented itself as the West End destination for great food and great fun.
This season, a long-standing tradition of quick bites and affordable dining is revamped with a new menu and entertaining options.
Synonymous with the eclectic social hub of West End, The Pavilion celebrated its 10th year last year. It has continued to grow as the meeting place of choice for live music, pool, poker and great food.
The venue boasts six function areas, an a la carte restaurant, three cocktail bars and a 17-table pool hall. It’s the new burger menu by Chef Adrian Van Keulen however, that has mouths watering all over town.
Far more than the standard pub grub selection, Van Keulen’s burger menu offers the likes of a prawn and calamari burger served with baby Cos lettuce, Roma tomato, homemade tartare sauce and topped with glazed lemon and orange slices and served with mixed chips. Or the goat’s cheese-stuffed chicken burger layered atop an olive and cheese scroll.
A great range of beers are on tap - Pure Blonde, Asahi, Stella and Carlton Drought completes the experience.
With a background in fine dining at Melbourne’s famed Botanical Restaurant, Chef Adrian Van Keulen says his ‘bohemian boutique’ menu offers flavours from the West to the Middle East.
“I made the burgers a little bit more edgy by thinking outside the square, using non-traditional ingredients and natural accompaniments like oven-baked pumpkin chips on the side,” Adrian says.
“We believe this menu will put The Pavilion on the map as the best place to get a burger in Brisbane – it’s the full gourmet burger experience.”
Elsewhere on the menu, be impressed by Van Keulen’s signature Peking Duck Risotto, try a beef and mango cheek pizza or just snack out on some marinated chicken drumsticks, stuffed mushrooms or breads and dips to enjoy with your after work drinks.
