The sleek, stylish venue at Wagamama Wintergarden is in keeping with the international Wagamama concept – communal tables, sophisticated design fit-out and great locations. Wagamama Wintergarden also features a fantastic balcony overlooking Queen Street Mall.
The food is fast and fresh and best of all affordable, with signature dishes featuring chilli beef ramen, grilled gyoza (chicken and cabbage dumplings) and yaki soba – everything from fabulous noodle dishes, stir-fry rice favourites and popular chicken katsu curry. The menu is a mouthwatering mixture of noodles, rice dishes, freshly squeezed juices and salads.
Chief Wagamama noodle, Mark Rowland, said Brisbane was one of the most embracing and culturally perfect cities for the Wagamama concept.

“Brisbane and the south east corner continues to grow and develop. Its people are simply fantastic – open to new concepts, aware of what they prefer in terms of food and tastes, and really welcoming of fresh ideas and trends. We love this openness and innovative personality of the region,” he said.
“Brisbane has already placed Wagamama Emporium and Wagamama Chermside on their list of favourites and now it’s time for the city to learn the Wagamama language. There’s Wagamama ramen, moyashi soba and yasai katsu curry, or yasai cha han, yasai yaki soba, amai udon and kare lomen, it’s a delicious language of culinary experiences,” said Rowland.
“Of course the Wagamama meals need to be washed down - perhaps with sake, or plum wine or some lemon iced tea or one of our delicious freshly squeezed juices. And don’t worry Brisbane, we serve wine and beer too!”
Japanese for ‘wilful, naughty child’, Wagamama has become a culinary icon across the world after first opening in London in 1992.
