Q. What is webmail?
A. A free web-based email system that lets you read, manage and create messages from any computer with a web browser and access to the Internet.
Q. Is webmail free?
A. Yes, all you need to do is register with ourbrisbane.com. There are no other charges associated with Webmail. Your normal telephone and ISP charges will still apply.
Q. How do I become a webmail user?
A. Registering as an ourbrisbane.com member automatically registers you for Webmail.
Q. How do I access my webmail account?
A. Access to Webmail is easy. Simply sign in to the ‘members’ area on the right-hand side of the website and click ‘ourbrisbane.com email’.
Q. Is my webmail mailbox secure?
A. After you have registered and chosen your password, no one can access your mailbox without your password. Please keep your password safe.
Q.What if I forget my password?
A. To reset your password click on “forgotten password” under the membership section on the right-hand side of the website. A new password will be automatically sent to your registered email address.
Q. Can I send attachments with my message?
A. Yes, you can send attachments with your messages provided they don't exceed 4Mb in size. Not all web browsers allow the attachment of documents. It is recommended you use Netscape Navigator (version 4.0 or higher) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or higher).
Q. Can I access my emails through Outlook Express or my mobile phone?
A. ourbrisbane.com does not provide the option to access webmail through Outlook Express or your mobile phone.
Q. I deleted a message from my inbox and now it is not in the trash. Where did it go?
A. When a message or messages are deleted, they go into the trash folder. Your Trash will be emptied each time you log out of ourbrisbane.com and the deleted messages can not be retrieved.
Q. Can I export my address book?
A. Yes. To export it you need to login to webmail, click file, then address book and select import/export. Choose the format you want it exported in and click export.
