A stylist with a stellar fashion background. She’s modelled in the 1960s and ’70s, worn the mini, the shift, hot pants, the power suits, then the minimal. Here’s a woman who understands “looks” and why it’s so important to wear what suits you best.

What’s your favourite:

Word: style.

Drink: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Fruit: passionfruit.

Place for a holiday: Portofino, Italy, is at the top of my "ten".

Website: www.istylefashion.com.au

Thing to eat for breakfast: naughty breakfast – eggs Benedict; usual breakfast – fresh pineapple, vegemite toast and a cup of tea.

Way to spend Sunday afternoon: at the Fish Café in Manly, Brisbane.

View in Brisbane: from Laidlaw Parade, East Brisbane, looking back to the city skyline and Story Bridge – hard to beat.

What’s your middle name – does it have special significance? My mother and father thought Dianne was stand alone, but I had a nickname – Sugar.

Do you still have anything from your childhood? An older brother, Ian, and a gorgeous mum, Catherine – aged 88 years.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Brisbane or Paris.

What can’t you live without? My two adorable grandsons, John and Ethan.
