Q:Is there any particular thing that is best to use to get rid of nut weed and clover? Peter, Carindale

A: Nut grass can be controlled with glyphosate or Sempra (Halosulfuron). Sempra is the trade name.

Clover may be controlled with a mix containing MCPA and Dicamba. There are several products on the market that contain this mix – Clover & Bindii Lawn Weeder, Banvel, Hortico Lawn weeder… to name a few. Check the small print on the label which shows the ingredient of the product.
