For over a decade, we’ve been tempted by Jocelyn’s decadent and delectable pies, cakes and pastries from her store, Jocelyn’s Provisions, in New Farm. As her website says, “Baking is indeed an affair of the heart.”
What’s your favourite:
Word: delicious.
Drink: sauvignon blanc from New Zealand.
Fruit: home grown apricots.
Place for a holiday: South West France.
Website: Jocelyn's Provisions
Thing to eat for breakfast: organic, soft poached eggs, sheeps yoghurt and poached fruit.
Way to spend Sunday afternoon: going for a walk with my husband, son and our dog across the paddock, reading Cuisine magazine.
View in Brisbane: Teneriffe Park, great view west and over the inner city.
What’s your middle name – does it have special significance? Leith, named after my great aunt, Scottish heritage.
Do you still have anything from your childhood? I have a few material things from my childhood, because I can’t throw anything out. And great memories of family holidays- travelling south in May, while other families seemed to go to the beach! My ponyclub ribbons are stored with scrap books and school exercise books.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Australia – Dorrigo, overseas – North Norfolk coast, UK.
What can’t you live without? Soft cheese and fresh ground coffee.
