Births, deaths and marriages

  • Queensland Births Deaths and Marriages - Indexes to historical births, deaths and marriages can now be searched online for free on the website of the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General. Dates range from 1829 to 1914.

    Your Queensland ancestors might have moved from overseas or interstate so try also searching the free online indexes for the states of:

  • World War Two Nominal Roll - Check the nominal roll if your ancestors and relatives served in WWII.
  • Australian War Memorial - The Australian War Memorial website has a wealth of information relating to Australian service men and women from all conflicts.
  • AIF Database - The AIF project website has detailed information about men and women of the Australian Imperial Force in World War I.
