Spanish Tapas Bar

I agree, myself and my husband love tapas and all Spanish food, so it was very dissapointing that we went here. The food is very bland and has no seasoning/flavour/warmth. Everything had canned tomatoes poured over the top of it which kind of makes the blandness worse. There are no salt or pepper mills to assist with the issue. We ordered a huge variety of tapas so we ended up trying most things, even the potatos (served in the obligatory tomato blend) were just boiled with no internal flavour or seasoning. By the end of the meal we were convinced that the great decore was all about compensating for the lack of any taste sensation. Stay home and cook it yourself!

C'est Bon

This has just got to be the best French restaurant in Brisbane! It is simply and elegantly decorated and whether it is a dinner for two or a larger group you feel welcome and the staff are wonderful. The food is amazing and fresh with the menu online to have a look at before hand. It can be difficult to get a reservation so book ahead (you can book online too). Very tasty food and very well worth it!

I have been to other French restaurants and had shocking experiences (such as having a possum in the rafters urinate on our table/ourselves and our food then being asked whether we wanted our meal replaced?!?!- although they gave my husband a new shirt, we left via the boutique very quickly). We have never had a bad experience at C'est Bon (which led me to write this review and thankfully they are rafter free!)
