Wilston is a small dining precinct with a village atmosphere.
All of the eating options are within walking distance of each other, clustered around a 200 metre section of Kedron Brook Road. Packed into this compact area are numerous places to grab breakfast, a coffee any time of day or a lingering lunch and dinner.
The precinct is the local watering hole for nearby residents. Many people walk from the surrounding suburbs to sip, dine and relax.
One street corner is filled with the tables and blue umbrellas of The Conti Cafe. This elegant but friendly bistro offers good food with substantial portions. Menu favourites include bangers and mash or lambs fry alongside lighter options such as salads, souffles and french-inspired mains.
Other fine dining restaurants at Wilston include Fuse Wine and Food Bar with it’s delightful courtyard and a sophisticated menu or try the much-lauded Citron which fills it’s large indoor/outdoor space on Friday and Saturday nights.
Plus there’s the ever-popular Coffee Club and a couple of other quaint places where you can have a cup of tea, a lovely cake and browse for a gift. And for families there are two places to enjoy real pizzas, with an ice cream shop nearby for dessert or a special treat.
