Emporium, bursting with style and sophistication, is a popular, off-street precinct for those seeking a lively dining scene.

There are many interesting restaurants to choose from in this distinct dining destination, each with its own taste of something different and unique.

Mecca Bah specialises in traditional Turkish, Moroccan and Middle Eastern fare. This centrally positioned restaurant features cushioned benches inside, a wood-fired oven and many outdoor tables.

Make sure you leave room for dessert!Wagamama Asian noodle bar, which first established itself in London, Melbourne and Sydney is also at home in Brisbane’s Emporium. You'll get quick service for a noisy, slurpy, casual meal with friends (and new ones you'll meet at the communal tables). Relax or wait for a table in their comfortable body-length lounge chairs.

Another restaurant born into Emporium style is Freestyle Tout, which offers delectable desserts. Indulge yourself in their much sought after cafe menu or enjoy a quick coffee in style. The walls feature a changing gallery of local art works.

Belle Epoque – take the trip to Paris in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. Lined with booths and decorated in traditional French Bistro style, Belle Epoque offers real French food for lunch, dinner and weekend breakfasts. Plus there’s the boulangerie and patisserie and chilled seafood counter.

The Emporium is also home to Three Bistro. For those who know their chefs, this establishment is run by the competent team of David Pugh, Michael Conrad and Peter Marchant (all from Restaurant Two [link to ). Select quality steak meals, oysters and rich desserts.

Or choose modern Australian fare from Depot. It's a popular place for breakfast and also offer a tapas menu for lunch and dinner.

Buzz Bistro – a family friendly, colourful spot for a meal. Relax and enjoy the passing parade of people. Another top choice for breakfast (including all day breakfast options).

Gambaro’s at Emporium – fresh and cooked seafood is now at Emporium. Choose fish and chips, lobster mornay or buy fresh seafood to take home.

To make your own winning meals, stock up at Emporium Fine Foods delicatessen. You’ll be spoilt for choice with 300 types of cheese, 30 types of sausages and hundreds of gourmet grocery items.

There is customer parking for all venues but it can still get crowded at busy times. Public transport options include many bus routes and Brunswick Street train station is 10 minutes walk away.
