Gianni’s Restaurant Mediterranean-style courtyard is an ideal setting for an intimate meal, celebration, corporate lunch or dinner meeting. Soft leather chairs and candle light in the evenings make it a very inviting destination. In winter the courtyard is heated and a glass canopy roof allows year round alfresco dining.
The first floor mezzanine can be booked for private functions from 10 to 70 guests and small cocktail parties for up to 80. Also the entire restaurant can be exclusively booked for corporate events and weddings with a total capacity of 110 seated.
The intimate and sophisticated ambience at Gianni’s is matched by a superb menu by Executive Chef and co-owner Javier Codina, who hails from Barcelona. He has brought to Gianni’s an international flair with a blend of French, Californian and Spanish style cuisine. Training for many years overseas, Javier has introduced to Gianni’s a diverse array of fresh flavours and imagination.
Co-owner Gianni Greghini has brought a wealth of international experience and an extensive knowledge of fine wines with a cellar boasting over 700 bottles.
The mix of the two partners has resulted in a recipe for success. Gianni and Javier, along with the team at Gianni’s Restaurant, will ensure an unforgettable experience.
Gianni’s Events @ Portside
Due to numerous inquiries for larger events too big for the restaurant, the idea came to open up a function centre that would offer the same high quality innovative style of food the restaurant was famed for. So in August 2006 Gianni Events @ Portside was launched. This modern slick, first of its kind dedicated events centre with an unspoiled view of the city and Brisbane can cater for groups of up to 450 or less and cocktail parties of up to 700.
