Plans for a sequel to the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy are reportedly in the works.
Writer/director Adam McKay and star Will Ferrell are reportedly planning to make a follow-up in the next few years.
"I'm looking to do another movie, I might do this other movie called 'Channel 3 Billion', which is kind of this science fiction/Brazil type comedy," McKay told Collider.com.
"Then after that, Will and I are like 'let's do Anchorman 2'," McKay says. "So you're talking two years. Maybe we'll do it, but we're going to do it for sure."
McKay and Ferrell had also previously worked together on the 2006 comedy Talladega Nights: The ballad of Ricky Bobby.
