Fortitude Valley Boys' School
This wooden structure housed the boys' school from c1887/8 until it was demolished c1948 to make way for a new modern school building in commemoration of the Valley's centenary 1849-1949. When demolished, some timber was used in construction work on the Chermside State School, cnr Gympie and Rode Roads.
