Deception Bay in the 1960s. Seashell Dr Area
Original pumpkin farm showing farmhouse fronting Seashell Drive (arrowed)in the 1960's. In 2005, the whole area is totally developed with houses. The Palm Lakes Resort is around the top middle area and the scout hall is not far from the farmhouse. The Deception Bay shopping village is a few minutes walk down from the lower left hand side of the picture. The farmhouse is still standing as is on 3/4 acre - Sep 2005. The other outbuildings have been demolished. A duplex has been built on the back left hand quarter of the farmhouse block which fronts Dolphin Street.
