io Maroochydore

io Maroochydore is Australia's first Altitude Simulation Centre open to the public. io Maroochydore provides a wellness technique normally only available to elite athletes and the very rich. io Maroochydore Altitude simulators get your body to work as if it was at altitude, making you stronger, fitter and faster.

Thinner air at altitude means it takes greatly increased effort just to breathe let alone do anything else. That increased effort has proven beneficial effects on general health, recovery and speed.

io Maroochydore is a passive workout designed to rapidly strengthen your body, keep you fit and well, and offer relief from many conditions. The full program takes 50 hours over 12 months (one hour per day for three weeks followed by a booster session every six to eight weeks). io Maroochydore has proven results with conditions such as asthma, sleep apnoea, reduced blood pressure, renal failure and reducing fatigue in turn increasing energy.

Children catered for?

Yes - Children are welcome. There is internet access for children to play in or they can play movies through the simulators.

Disabled access?

Yes - There is access for guests with a disability. io Maroochydore is on the Ground Floor with easy access. There is no disabled toilet available.
