Holidaying with pets in Brisbane and south east Queensland
Woof, woof! Miaow. It’s holiday time…but what would a holiday be if you had to leave behind your much-loved but furry family members? Never fear, we’ve rounded up some of Brisbane’s pet-friendly accommodation and nearby regional camping spots so you and your pet can holiday together.
Brisbane city accommodation
Just because you’re visiting the city, doesn’t mean your pooch can’t come along too. There are quite a few holiday houses which accept pets.
- Brisbane Holiday Homes has pet friendly houses at Holland Park, Greenslopes and Forest Lake. There is a surcharge for pets but, hey, 2 kids under 16 can stay free. Pretty good value!
- Homely Houses offers a variety of houses across Brisbane that are child and pet friendly.
- Brisbane Cottages gives you an alternative to serviced apartments with a number of fully fenced houses around Brisbane.
- Don't Fret Pet lists several pet friendly properties in the Brisbane region.

Camping and cabins
