From action to relaxation, from nature to adventure, there’s something for everyone - and it’s all right here in your own backyard. So take advantage of spending more time holidaying, and less time travelling!

There’s nothing like getting away for a holiday, and it’s even better when you don’t have far to go.

Highlights:

Fraser Coast

The Fraser Coast offers a true escape, where you can really interact with nature. Visit World Heritage listed Fraser Island and take it at your own pace. 4 wheel-drive across the island, immerse yourself in the crystal clear freshwater lakes or feel on top of the world as you climb the huge sand dunes.

Even the majestic humpback whales seek the tranquil waters of Hervey Bay, where they stop and play from July to November. Visit the region and you’ll see why the Fraser Coast really is perfect by nature.

Gold Coast

The Gold Coast has something for everyone!

Wind down with long lazy walks on warm, sun drenched beaches or take a cruise on a sparkling sapphire sea. Wander through the ancient rainforest of the hinterland, where hidden waterfalls and crystal clear rock pools carve into the serene green surroundings.

And when you’re fully rejuvenated - world class dining, entertainment and shopping are all at the doorstep just waiting for you!

Or if action and adventure are more your style, try surfing the famous beaches, feel the exhilaration of the theme park rides or hit the water with a jet-ski, kite-surf or jet-boat to increase the adrenalin.

Brisbane

Modern and progressive, dynamic and diverse, Brisbane is no sleepy little town. The weather is glorious, the pace is relaxed and the city hums with vitality, colour, and so many things to see and do. From designer shopping, chic al fresco dining, opera, art and dance to vibrant weekend markets, sporting clashes, sparkling islands and tranquil green spaces, Brisbane will always surprise and delight you.

Paddle a kayak on the river, abseil down Kangaroo Point cliffs, see awesome humpback whales in Moreton Bay (June to November) or head for the walks and cool waterfalls of the lush hinterland. From pristine beaches to beautiful mountain hideaways, a gently winding river to the aquatic paradise of Moreton Bay, experience all the Brisbane region has to offer.

South East Queensland Country

The good life and its natural bounty lie just outside the Brisbane city limits, so prioritise relaxation and rejuvenation with a weekend enjoying the cream of the country. Head for the hills - where old fashioned hospitality, untouched wilderness and your peace of mind awaits.

Take in the natural variation as it unfolds in front of you. Be wowed by Girraween’s granite monoliths peppered with colourful wildflowers, the Bunya Mountains’ majestic conifers, and the cascading waterfalls of the Great Falls Drive. A drive through the lush hills of the Coastal Hinterlands reveals bohemian communities, intimate B&Bs, heritage buildings, and grand homesteads.

Sunshine Coast

On the Sunshine Coast, you can escape the everyday and relax where crystal waters meet pure, white sands. Enjoy lush, green views in a spectacular hinterland full of surprises. The Sunshine Coast promises exceptional dining and shopping discoveries you won’t find anywhere else.

There’s a magnificent beach around every corner, so the entire coastline is your playground. And you’ll find all the space you need to connect and rediscover what makes you truly happy.
