Redcliffe is a thriving city in its own right but is also a delightful place for a day trip. It is an easy drive from Brisbane and perfectly positioned on Moreton Bay. Enjoy the sun, sand and breezes.
Travel
Redcliffe is a 35 minute drive north of Brisbane city. From the city centre, head toward the Brisbane Airport and the Gateway Arterial Road. Once you reach the Gateway, follow it until you see the sign indicating the Deagon Deviation. Follow Route 26 all the way to Redcliffe.
From the northside, you can take the Bruce Highway to Redcliffe via Mango Hill or Deception Bay.
Redcliffe is also accessible by train and bus. Take a Shorncliffe train from Brisbane and connect with a bus from Sandgate station. Visit TransLink or phone TransInfo on 13 12 30 for timetables and ticketing information.

- For the adventurous, experience the thrill of a tandem parachute jump landing on the beach, or take a joy flight over Redcliffe and Moreton Bay
- Cruise, sail or kayak Moreton Bay where between June and November you can watch the migration of humpback whales
- Visit Settlement Cove's swimming lagoon and acquatic playground
- Browse the Redcliffe Museum, galleries and shops for artworks, antiques, crafts and collectables
- Explore the city's picturesque coastal bikeways or fish from one of its jetties, beaches or the Hornibrook Highway bridge
- Take a self-guided tourist drive along the Redcliffe foreshore
