Joy Martin from Wynnum says:

Don't forget to take your children for a stroll up Falcon Street (near the Manly boat harbour), to the corner of Wellington Street. The feature is the huge stone wall which I understand was built during the Depression years, the early 1930s, to create work for out-of-work men. It's aged now, that beautifully coloured stone into which some of the men carved little creatures. Look carefully, there aren't lots, and they're hard to find. Simple pleasures, tinged with the colour of history.

Mark Dewey from Sussex England says:

I stayed in this area for a couple of weeks in April 2009 while visiting familly. It's a very relaxing and friendly place. Not the most exiting place i've been to but easy access to the city and Gold coast by train. I am happy to say I do want a return visit.
