Northside

For big stores you know and lots of choice, head to one of Brisbane's many furniture and accessories stores.

Aspley Homemaker City has 50 stores to satisfy your ‘nesting' urges.

Or head a little further north to 1925 Gympie Road for another collection of furniture and homewares retailers at Carseldine Homemaker Centre.

On Bowen Bridge Road, Windsor there is a homewares centre with large furniture retailers, lighting, bedding, outdoor furniture stores too. Across the road from the centre, you'll also find a lighting and outdoor furniture store.

Fortitude Valley - catering to all the new residences in the city centre, there's a huge Homemaker City here too. Buy a bed, baby goods, electrical appliances and a barbeque. Look through the large Freedom store, Oz Design, Harvey Norman electrical and much more.

Looking for something a little bit different? Head to James Street (and surrounding streets) for a dose of high-end but beautiful furniture and accessory stores. Often, this is the only place in Queensland to find these shops.
