Looking for a truly special piece of jewellery? A ring perhaps to declare your love, a necklace for a special occasion or earrings that are just plain gorgeous... Then Brisbane has many stores and jewellers who can help you.
Straight to the top
If you want internationally renowned jewellery then head to Queens Plaza and through the secure doors of Tiffany & Co or Canturi Jewels for stunning jewellery.
Unique Brisbane jewellers
If you'd like a piece of jewellery custom made, or something just that little bit different, then find a local artisan jeweller and have it created to your specifications.
Madeleine Brown is a Brisbane trained bespoke jeweller who is happiest when working with clients to create exactly what they want. However, you can also find her work at Artisan by (m)art and find her hard at work at Paddington's Kiln gallery.
With her shop/studio and gallery on Brunswick Street, New Farm, Ari Athans creates contemporary pieces with bold shapes and organic forms. With a new range twice a year, her jewellery is bound to be a talking point whenever you wear it.
Rebecca Ward is a jeweller who used to have her studio as part of the Museum of Brisbane studio. These days, you can buy her work online or from various outlets. She takes inspiration from the natural environment and reusing found objects.
For traditional wedding and engagement rings, Cathryn Paul Fine Jewellery has a large range and can make something to your specifications for the big event.
And finally, here's a male making waves in the local jewellery scene. Michael Hofmeyer custom makes rings and other pieces from his studio in Paddington. If you want to commemorate a special event in your life then perhaps one of Michael's precious metal 'life tokens' is what you are looking for.
Fashion and antique jewellery
Chelsea de Luca started small in the jewellery game and now has a stunning store on James Street, New Farm. Her designs are lush, luscious and ultra glamourous with movie-star overtones. More a jeweller you would seek for lavish adornment rather than for wedding rings and the like.
For something more affordable and 'just because' walk through the French Door in Paddington. The shop is just divine and so are their jewels.
Fiera, owned by Rebecca McCormick has four stores in Brisbane and a wide range of fashion jewellery for most occasions.
Find jewellery that's had a prior life at an antique store. There are many styles and settings, some of which you won't see in modern jewellery outlets. Guaranteed, pieces in an antique store have a story to tell (if only they could). Paddington Antique Centre has an enormous range but many other antique dealers stock gold and silver jewellery.
