Jindalee in Brisbane's west sits on the banks of the Brisbane River making the most of its river frontage with plenty of riverside parks and lovely picnic spots.

The aptly named Boat Ramp Park near the intersection of Mt Ommaney Drive and Noolinga Street, is a beautiful recreational area with BBQs, a playground and, of course, a boat-ramp where you can launch your boats and indulge in a bit of water-skiing, jet-boating or sailing.

There's an abundance of cockatoos, bush turkeys and possums in the Jindalee area and even the occasional kangaroo and deer have been sighted.

Jindalee is home to many young families and has its own state primary and high schools and also private schools.

Many people are visiting Jindalee now with the popularity of DFO (Direct Factory Outlets) in the area.
