The outer Brisbane suburb of Carole Park is 19km from the CBD and borders the suburbs of Wacol, Gailes and Camira.
Half of the suburb is made up of an industrial park and is separated distinctively from the residential part of the suburb by the new Logan Motorway. This new road has opened up the possibilities of further residential development of the area.
Local facilities in the suburb include the Carole Park Primary School, the local swimming pool, Warren Ritchie Memorial Complex. Most of the commercial and retail facilities must be accessed at nearby Gailes and even Forest Lake.
According to the 2006 Census there were 1,869 people living in the suburb with a median age of 26. The median individual income was $326 per week. Of all occupied private dwellings 29.7% were either fully owned or being purchased; 56.2% were being rented.
