Established in the 1960s, Jamboree Heights is a residential suburb in Brisbane's west with its own state school and shopping centre and close to the large Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre in its neighbouring suburb.

It is ideally situated close to transport and the Centenary Highway and recreational areas include a golf course and several parks. The river is also only a short drive or walk away.

Jamboree Heights is about 14km from Brisbane’s CBD. Over 49% of households in the area are couples with children, 33% are couples without children and 15% are single parent households. 98% of the dwellings in this area are stand-alone houses. The houses are mainly modern, brick and tile houses on reasonable sized blocks, and there are plenty of parks and recreational facilities in the area.
