Welcome to Jindalee
Jindalee is a green, leafy suburb sitting on the banks of the Brisbane River. The aptly named Boat Ramp Park is beautiful with BBQs, a playground and, of course, a boat-ramp. Here's where you can launch your boating vehicles onto the Brisbane River and indulge in a bit of water-skiing, jet-boating or sailing. Jindalee makes the most of its river frontage with plenty of riverside parks and lovely picnic spots.
There's an abundance of cockatoos, bush turkeys and possums in the area and even the occasional kangaroo and deer have been sighted. Jindalee is home to many young families and has its own state primary and high schools and also private schools.
More people are visiting Jindalee now with the popularity of DFO (Direct Factory Outlets) in the area, but residents are staying for the peaceful riverside living, the golf clubs and the ambiance.
