Welcome to Lytton
Near the mouth of the Brisbane River and Port of Brisbane, the suburb of Lytton is primarily an industrial and commercial area known for the Caltex Oil Refinery and historic Fort Lytton National Park.
Besides its important former role of protecting our shores during wartime, Fort Lytton was once used as as an airstrip by Australia's famous aviator Sir Charles Kingsford Smith.
From Lytton it's only a short drive to Wynnum, and the northern suburbs and Brisbane Airport are easily accessible via the Gateway Bridge and Motorway.
