Welcome to Milton
You could probably find your way to Milton even if you were blindfolded … you'd just follow your nose and the malty smell of hops would lead you straight to XXXX Brewery, home of Queensland's iconic beer.
Not only is Milton home to the brewery, it's also home to Suncorp Stadium - Queensland's state of the art, custom-built sporting stadium. The Stadium used to be Lang Park before being rebuilt and is now home to the Brisbane Broncos, Queensland Roar, the State of Origin and more. The Stadium isn't used only for sport, it's also an entertainment venue for major concerts with artists like Robbie Williams and Andre Rieu.
There are lots of great restaurants and boutiques in the area and in nearby Rosalie. Milton's arterial road, the busy Milton Road, is the main link from the city to the western suburbs. Then there's Milton Park - a large green space for playing ball games, with separate dog park and a kids' park with a fake train and station that kids adore.
No wonder Milton appeals to everyone and not just the beer- and footy-loving blokes!
