Mt Ommaney

Welcome to Mt Ommaney
As the name suggests, Mt Ommaney is not a flatland! Instead it's full of hills and views and boasts some huge, prestigious houses equipped with pools and tennis courts as well as more modest family homes. There's a relaxed family feel to the area and the proximity to shops, a library and schools makes it popular with families.
With the Mt Ommaney shopping centre at their door, locals have a plethora of eateries to choose from as well as a few golf clubs to visit. Of particular note is the Gertrude McLeod Golf Club, which has the southern hemisphere's only all-female board and chairperson.
Mt Ommaney is a short commute from the CBD, via the Western Freeway, and is close to neighbouring suburbs Jindalee, Westlake, Jamboree Heights and Middle Park. It's also just across the river from the University of Queensland and some lucky residents have fabulous city views.

Tina says: It's big, beautiful and never too crowded. Friendly people and undulating landscape. I enjoy taking a stroll around the suburb in the afternoon or on weekends. Good relaxing suburb overall.
