Murarrie
Postcode: 4172 | Distance to CBD: 8 km
Welcome to Murarrie
The eastern suburb of Murarrie has had an interesting past with a variety of industries such as sugar cane and cotton growing to meatworks and boatbuilding. It still supports a number of industries but nowdays has lots of modern housing as well.
Murarrie is ideally situated for transport close to the Gateway Motorway, Wynnum and Creek Roads and with its own railway station.
Cannon Hill and Carindale shopping centres are very close by and the large Murarrie Recreation Area offers everything from biketracks and bbq areas to skate parks and canoe ramps.
