An outer western suburb, Pullenvale is a prestigious rural area with large areas of bushland, acreage properties and elegant homes with majestic views.
There are some historic buildings dating from the late 19th century including the original Pullenvale State School now at the Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre at 250 Grandview Road.
The present day Pullenvale State School is also in Grandview Road and residents are close to shopping centres and other facilities in the neighbouring suburbs of Kenmore and Bellbowrie.
