One of Brisbane’s most interesting suburbs,  Sunnybank has undergone many transformations over the years. Farming land and aircraft hangars have been replaced with residential development and thriving commercial businesses.

In the 1960s The Oasis (which opened in 1938) at 141 Station Road, Sunnybank was one of Brisbane’s most popular tourist attractions with swimming pools, lush gardens and a mini-zoo.

Sunnybank is now known for its fine restaurants and specialty shops many with a strong Asian influence and reflecting the popularity of the suburb with Asian migrants.

Sunnybank has no shortage of facilities and services including Sunnybank Plaza Shopping Centre complete with cinemas, two nearby hospitals, sports fields, train stations and schools.
