Asia Pacific Triennial of Art 6

Gallery of Modern Art, South Bank

5 December 2009 - 5 April 2010

The only major international project to focus exclusively on the contemporary art of Asia, the Pacific and Australia, The Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT) has claimed a permanent and cherished place in Brisbane’s summer cultural calendar.

Amazing art for all

Every three years, the Gallery precinct is enlivened by the particular energy of the APT exhibition, now with an exceptional calendar of films and thematic programs in the Australian Cinémathèque, the groundbreaking Kids’ APT and the 11-day buzz of the APT Summer Spectacular Festival in January.

APT6 occupies the entire Gallery of Modern Art as well as the Watermall in the Queensland Art Gallery, and features the work of over 100 artists, filmmakers, collaborations and collectives.

The exhibition is free, and is open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm, and 9am to 5pm on weekends. Visit TransLink for public transport options.
