The 2009 St Jerome's Laneway Festival is fast approaching! Returning to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and heading for the very first time to Perth, indie music fans nationally can expect the same calibre of exceptional live acts from all over the planet as in previous years, when Australia's only traveling street party returns (a bit earlier) in 2009.
The site for the Brisbane Laneway Festival will move to Alexandria St off St Paul's Terrace, Fortitude Valley. The new site features plenty of interesting nooks and crannies, heaps of shade and a brilliant natural undercover clay amphitheatre plus a fabulous new boutique designer street market thanks to FourThousand.com.au and tap beers and cocktails courtesy of the Zoo.
