The initial line up for Australia’s biggest touring festival, the Big Day Out 2009, was announced in early October with an incredible line up including Neil Young, Living End, Arctic Monkeys and The Prodigy to name but a few (see below for the full list of artists).
Following the trend of rapid ticket sales in previous years, 50,000 tickets to the Gold Coast Big Day Out sold out in record-breaking time. The final 5,000 tickets were made available for purchase through an online ticket ballot via the Big Day Out website, and have now been allocated.
