Our review
With Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher in the lead roles, this was never going to be a dull movie.
Kutcher stars as Jack Fuller, a soon-to-be-sacked layabout from Brooklyn who heads off for a riotous weekend in Vegas to celebrate his lack of employment.
Enter Joy McNally (Diaz), a New York finance trader who's also in Vegas after being unceremoniously dumped by her fiance.
The two bump into each other in Sin City after a hotel mix-up, spend one debauched and drunken night together and, you guessed it, wake up married.
But wait - it gets worse. The newlyweds win a stack of cash in Vegas, have a spectacular falling out but are then refused access to their money until they've completed an extended period of marriage guidance.
And so ensues six months of chaos, skulduggery and dirty tricks as each tries to wind the other up until they ditch their claim to the cash. But of course amid the nastiness, love looks like it could blossom.
Despite a predictable storyline, Diaz and Kutcher's onscreen chemistry means that in the less exciting moments at least there is someone good to look at on screen.
Chick flick? Probably. Worth seeing? Definitely.
