Handel’s Messiah, composed in just three weeks, has enthralled audiences for more than 250 years.

Acclaimed English choral conductor Stephen Layton is a leading authority on Handel and has hand-picked the singers for this performance. David Wilson-Johnson is one of the most sought after baritones in the world today, renowned for his recordings of Handel’s music. He is joined by three of Australia’s best young singers for this finale to the 2009 concert season.
