Brisbane's Riverfestival 2008

Spring means the start of Riverfestival season in Brisbane…the time when fireworks burst through the sky at QBE Riverfire, when the Goodwill Bridge will be flooded by people enjoying a free BBQ breakfast at RiverBBQ and there is a stream of family events as part of RiverSunday.

For ten days, Brisbane truly becomes the ‘river city’ as events, films and art installations about water and the river engulf us. Plus, the international RiverSymposium brings the world’s water experts to our shore.
