Museum of Brisbane presents Ranamok Glass Prize 2008. Over the past fourteen years, the Ranamok Glass Prize has become one of the best-kept secrets of the international contemporary glass scene.
An annual competition for artisans throughout Australia and New Zealand, Ranamok Glass Prize pushes the boundaries of the ancient art form, resulting in a stunning array of works. Museum of Brisbane is proud to present the finalists of the 2008 prize. Ranging from the intricate and ephemeral to the bold and edgy, the year's best works in contemporary glass will be on show.
Ranamok Glass Prize is a celebration of sheer visual energy in glass - bought to life with vivid colours and sudden optical illusions.
